Brett Cropp is a Research Scientist with CUBRC Inc., a non-profit research company based in Buffalo, New York. He is part of an initiative to transition data science and multisource information fusion technology, originally developed for defense and intelligence, to healthcare applications. These applications include data alignment, data mining, complex event monitoring and notification for partners, including providers, payers, HIEs and Infonaut Inc. Brett holds a diverse background in research, including field work in behavioral ecology and four years spent as a neuroimaging research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health. He holds a Master’s of Science in Health Informatics from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
