About us

One person can make a difference, and everyone should try. – John F. Kennedy

The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS) is a not for profit that exists to advance innovations, ideas, and processes that make a difference in global health. TIPS extends to 30+ countries and is the key strategic partner for many notable organizations, initiatives, and events. In the past few years, TIPS has contributed millions in Scientific Impact. Many of our successes are published on our Open Access Journal www.InfectionControl.tips

Launched on November 15, 2015 on the eve of Antibiotic Resistance week; the TIPS Journal met the call to action by Dr. Margaret Chen, Director-General of the World Health Organization:

“…The World Economic Forum has identified antibiotic resistance as a global risk beyond the capacity of any one organization or nation to manage or mitigate alone…”

In addressing this concern to the G7 Health Ministers on October 8, 2015, Dr. Chen concluded her statements with the following observation:

“… Consumer groups and civil society can play an important role in combating antimicrobial resistance. They are important movers, shakers, and front-line players, especially in this age of social media…

Therein lies the value of InfectionControl.tips.

As stated above: TIPS exists to advance innovations, ideas and processes that make a difference in global health.
The TIPS Journal is the global platform that we use to communicate these successes.

The TIPS journal is a Pan-Access worldwide collective that extends globally and touches locally.

We are: Free to Publish. Free to Access. Accessible Scientific Services.

There are NO fees to publish or access anything on the Journal

We are a registered non-profit (The Infection Prevention Strategy). The articles and contributions on the TIPS Journal are from volunteers, edited for accuracy and free of influence from special interest.

The TIPS journal utilizes all the same depositories as other journals (ResearchGate, Google Scholar). However, unlike other journals the TIPS platform is consistently marketed to over 500 groups in social media.  Since TIPS is Open Access, many of our articles and peer reviewed papers are republished in other popular trade magazines and journals.

We are a 100% volunteer based organization. Please support us!
