Geraldine M. Tembo is a Ph.D. candidate currently studying Food Microbiology and Safety in the Haley Oliver lab at Purdue University in the department of Food Science. Her research mainly focuses on disinfectant efficacy against known pathogens, research that is beneficial to both the food and health industries. Geraldine completed her master’s degree in Food Science as a Fulbright scholar at Purdue University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology at Botswana College of Agriculture.
