Iwain Lam is the President and CEO of Surface Medical Inc and the inventor of CleanPatch, the first medical device designed to repair polyurethane and vinyl surfaces to an intact and cleanable state. Iwain received his Masters degree in Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary and Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta. Iwain is also an Ernst C. Manning Innovation Award recipient, author of a peer-reviewed journal publication, guest lecturer at the University of Calgary, and inventor on several patents.
