The TIPS Journal publishes Peer-Reviewed research and Perspective articles from practitioners, researchers and innovators around the world. Publishing starts with a short proposal: tell us who you are and what you would like to write. If it fits the journal, our editors will reply with the next steps and invite your full manuscript.

Publishing starts with a short proposal. If it fits the journal, our editors will invite your full manuscript. Please read the Authorship Guidelines and Submission Policy first. The key points:

Every article

  • Original: not published, and not under review, anywhere else. All submissions are checked for plagiarism.
  • Clear: written in plain English for a global audience. There is no word limit.
  • Referenced: every source cited in APA style, with links where possible.
  • Images: your own, or used with permission - each with a caption.
  • Transparent: all funding and any conflict of interest declared, including ties to products you discuss.

Peer-reviewed articles also need these sections

  5. Conclusion and significance
  6. References

Research involving people or animals needs ethics approval where required.
