Open Access and Licence

Everything published in the TIPS Journal is open access: free for anyone, anywhere, to read, download and share, with no subscription or log-in. Our articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

What the licence means

• BY – Attribution: anyone sharing an article must credit the authors and the TIPS Journal, and link to the original.
• NC – NonCommercial: articles may not be used for commercial purposes (for example, in paid materials or advertising) without permission.
• ND – NoDerivatives: articles may be shared as they are, but not changed, adapted or translated without permission.

For readers

You are welcome to share our articles with colleagues, link to them, print them for teaching, and include them in your own non-commercial training, as long as you credit the authors and the TIPS Journal. Each article has a ready-made Cite as reference you can copy.

For authors

Your work reaches the widest possible audience, is always credited to you, and cannot be altered or sold by others. You may deposit your published article in institutional or subject repositories straight away. Full terms are in our Submission Policy.
