Arthur Sieron

Arthur has recently completed an undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biochemistry under the supervision of Dr. Gerry Wright, where he is compiling a cell-based research platform that can be used to de-replicate known antibiotic classes from bioactive extracts and screen for antibiotic adjuvants. He is interested in antibiotic resistance; how it arises, evolves, and new treatment regimens for fighting this uphill battle. Outside of the lab, Arthur enjoys spending time with friends, reading, trying new cuisines, and breaking a sweat at the gym.
