Austin Yan

Austin Yan is a MD/PhD student at the University of Ottawa and enjoys the interface between clinical work and biomedical research. His interests include microbiology, therapeutics, health policy, and personalized medicine. He received a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts & Science at McMaster University where he studied how human gut bacteria could affect drug therapies. When he's not at school, Austin enjoys playing the piano, cooking Taiwanese food, and watching House of Cards.
