Mercedes Victoria Loor is currently undertaking a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry within the University of Guelph. She has held an NSERC Undergraduate Research Assistant scholarship and is currently a Research Assistant within the Department of Food Science. She has an interest in microbiology and undertaken research in the area of decontamination of personal protective equipment and application of ozone-based technologies. She aims to persue a career in biomedical research upon graduation.
