A Humanitarian Call to WHO to Provide Vaccines to HCWs Everywhere

Join in Solidarity. Critical Call to Action:

Healthcare workers (HCW) are part of the frontline in the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. The ID-IRI (Infectious Diseases International Research Initiative) platform was the first to provide precise data on COVID-19 related HCW deaths in 37 countries and a paper was published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases a couple of weeks ago (2021: 102; 239–241). WE ARE DYING EVERYWHERE.

a humanitarian call to WHO to provide vaccines to HCWs everywhere

At the moment, ID-IRI is planning to make a call to WHO for the provision of any type of vaccines free of charge and immediately to the HCWs worldwide, particularly to those living in countries with limited resources. This is not a political call or an action with commercial backgrounds. But, this a humanitarian call to WHO to provide vaccines to HCWs everywhere.
